Associate Members

Scientists working in various research institutions of Pakistan will be appointed as Associate Members (AM) for five years. The AM will then be entitled to three short-term visits up to three months per visit during their five yearly tenure. The Centre will pay their travel and daily allowance whereas their home institution will continue to pay their salaries. This scheme will enable physicists working in universities, colleges, and other institutions to visit the Centre for short periods to carry out research in the state-of-the-art in physics. Such a scheme has already proved very successful at the ICTP, Trieste, Italy.
