Theoretical High Energy Physics

The theoretical physics group working at NCP is comprised of Dr. Riazuddin, Dr. Fayyazuddin, four Ph. D. students and five M. Phil students. Their interests in theoretical high energy physics (HEP) are:

• B-meson physics

  • Semileptonic and hadronic B-decays

  • CP-violation

  • Study of new physics beyond the standard model in semileptonic B-decays

• Neutrino physics

• Lepton flavor violating decays beyond the standard model

This group has recently been joined by Prof. Faheem Hussain who has his interests in:

• String theory
• Non-commutative geometry
• Super symmetry
