Introduction

The “3rd National Symposium on Laser Matter Interaction (LMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from 16-17 September, 2019. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic, Molecular and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and future prospects in the field of light matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for this activity. A registration fee of Rs.1000/- is mandatory for the participants. However, the fee will be waived off for some deserving participants, subject to selected oral presentation. The travel expenses may be partially reimbursed, according to the availability of Budget. For the outstation participants, accommodation will be provided at NCP.

Note: All M. Phil and PhD students require to attach recommendation letter by their supervisor.
