Introduction

The sixth “National Symposium on Laser Matter Interaction (LMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from September 12-13, 2022. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic, Molecular and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and prospects in the field of light-matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for this scientific activity. A registration fee of Rs.1000/- is mandatory for all participants. However, the fee will be waived off for some deserving participants, subject to selected oral presentations. No TA/DA will be given to any participants/speakers. For the outstation participants, free of cost accommodation will be provided at NCP. The Ph.D scholars are encouraged to apply for an Oral presentation.
