Introduction

The 9th “International Symposium on Light Matter Interaction (ILMI)” is being organized at the National Centre for Physics (NCP), from November 18-19, 2025. The main idea of holding the symposium is to provide a common platform to the national researchers working in the field of Atomic and Laser Physics to discuss and share the recent advancements and challenges. The symposium shall highlight the emerging technologies and prospects in the field of light matter interactions.

Participation

Research students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty members, scientists and engineers are encouraged to apply for this scientific activity. The students submitting abstract for oral or poster presentation (as per provided format) along with their application will be given preference during selection. Outstation participants will be provided with accommodation at NCP.

Registration Fee

  • Local Students: Rs. 2000/-
  • Faculty members/Professionals: Rs. 4000/-
  • Outstation Faculty members/Professionals: Rs. 6000/-
  • Outstation students: Rs. 4000/-

*Travel support may be provided to selective students upon availability of funds.
