Centre for Earthquake Studies is organizing a two days symposium on contemporary topics and recent trends in earthquake studies on 10-11 November, 2020. Owing to COVID-19 Pandemic, event will be Virtual. The symposium includes contributed talks of duration 20-30 minutes. This symposium will cover the scientific lectures on latest advancements in the field of seismology and allied disciplines.The event will provide an excellent opportunity for students and researchers to interact with renowned experts in the said research fields. This symposium aims to provide the local resrach students, scientist and engineers a platform to intract with world renowned scientists in the filed.

Participation
Research students, active graduate and post graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, faculty and research scientists/engineers are encouraged to apply. A limited number of slots are available in the oral presentation session for young researchers. Maximum benefit will be drawn by the applicants having prior basic knowledge of the field; young researchers and research students working in the field will be facilitated on priority. The whole event will be conducted virtually the details will be shared to the participants.
Registration
Online Registration Form can be accessed here. There is no fee for workshop registration. Only relevant registered participants will be allowed to attend the symposium. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the relevance of their research area to SES-20 and the availability of IT resources at NCP. Shortlisted participants will be intimated during the last week of October 2020.
