The National Centre for Physics has been conducting since 2016 an annual program to improve the knowledge base and teaching skills of educators at the Masters/BS level. The focus of the program is to address the issues being faced by teachers in concept development and in problem solving as a basic part of physics education. Currently the Second Course is in progress. The First Module of the current Course was conducted in June - July 2018. In continuation, the NCP will organize the 2nd module of this Refresher Course at its premises from 20th June to 12th July, 2019. The course will consist of lectures, problem solving sessions and experimental demonstrations, conducted by experienced faculty members from NCP, QAU, COMSATS and NUST.

Applications are invited from all parts of the country from those who are teaching physics at the M.Sc. or BS levels and having at least a M.Sc. degree. Boarding and lodging for outstation participants would be provided free of cost. There is no Registration fees for participation. Partial travel support will be provided to selected participants
Application form can be accessed here. Application forms should be submitted to not later than 16 May, 2019. List of applicants shortlisted/accepted by the Directors will be posted at NCP website. The short-listed applicants will also be informed by email once the selection procedure is completed.
